This category includes:

1. Accredited Persons (“Olympic Family”)

  • Those with accreditation applications submitted to the Olympic or Paralympic Committee, such as athletes, media, and officials.
  • Applications can be made at any VFS Global centre, without prior appointment.
  • Required documents: OCOG “Certificate” and travel document.
  • No visa fee or service fee is required.

2. Guests of the OCOG

  • Follow the ordinary visa application procedure via France-Visas.
  • Required documents: “Letter of Invitation” from the OCOG, travel document, and supporting documents listed on the “France-Visas” registration receipt.
  • No visa fee or service fee is required.

3. Volunteers

  • Register a visa application via France-Visas.
  • Required documents: “Letter of Attestation of Voluntary Service” from the COJO, travel documents, and supporting documents.
  • Visa and service fees apply.

4. Spectators: follow the normal visa application procedure.

Appointment: Visa applications in Ghana must be submitted via the VFS Global website, including a pre-payment of the service fee. The French Embassy in Accra examines all applications and is the sole authority for visa decisions.
